Guided tours

If you’re interested in culture and history, we recommend going on a guided tour of Brixen. Visitors can choose between an information-packed tour of this diocese, a tour of the town at night with a night watchman or an immersive theatrical tour during which you will be taken back to medieval Brixen.

Plose lift

Use of the Plose cable car and other cable cars in the region (one return trip per person per day):
* during the summer season from May 14 to July 10 and from September 6 to November 1, 2026 (except from July 11 to September 5, 2026)
* no cable car ride is included in the winter season

Up to the Plose hiking area - without the cable car:
* take the bus to the ski hut (alternatively by car, limited parking available) and from there take the gentle Lorggen family hiking trail for approx. 30-40 minutes up to the WoodyWalk and other hiking trails and huts on the Plose
* take the car to the Kreuztal car park at an altitude of 2,000 m (subject to a fee), the starting point for many hikes on the Plose

Acquarena

Acquarena - swimming pool in Brixen with 25 meter sports pool, fun pool with current channel and water slide, saltwater pool and a toddler pool with slide. In summer there is also an outdoor pool with 3,000 m² of water surface and a large sunbathing lawn.
Free admission to the pool area (one 3-hour ticket daily, except Sundays and public holidays), reduced admission to the sauna area (except Sundays and public holidays).
